What a week that was!

It's been a really hectic week since I last posted on here.
All sorts of meetings, appointments and curious coincidences.
I would say that I'm just settling down after it all but if anything it seems to be continuing as it was - still lots of meetings arranged and my speaking engagements start next week as well.
Absolutely manic - but great fun.
I can really see things moving in the right direction.
Would love to go play with those tanks I saw last week.
Will update as soon as I can.

What a day I have lined up...

I thought yesterday was bad (well good I suppose depending on how you look at it). I really didn't stop working until 5pm and then again carried on until 8.30pm after I got home.

At least the Blackberry is up and running now though, so I not only have a phone again but can access my emails wherever I am - saves a lot of time.

So what have I got lined up for today? Well it goes like this I think,

Search for candidates (4 really hot jobs at the moment)
Make a few important phone calls
Meet this chap Warren for the first time
Database (I'll be lucky - Ed.)
Train to Bath for Ecademy meeting
Train home to Bristol then train back to Yate ETA 9pm tonight!

Bed hopefully

At least I'm busy.

Need to get cracking on those IFA leads tomorrow.

Busy day...

Blimey, some day so far - haven't stopped since I got here.
Just loads and loads of people to sort, file, review ....
Keeping me busy though, always miles better than any sort of boredom.

I really must try and keep this up to date as there are lots of interesting things going on at the moment and it would be nice to have a record of it all.

Looking forwards...

Which is what I habitually try and do, I can see things moving along nicely.
Yesterday was a productive day here in the office (more of the same today then - Ed) and then I cleared all my emails, had a great coaching session with Duncan and managed to sort out the next 2 example illustrations for Gaz ready to send off today.

I have plenty of things lined up for both tomorrow and friday and am looking forward to booking in more of the same for next week.

Let's keep the fire's burning on the way to that £50m.

Busy day....again

Yesterday was certainly a busy day.

I did a full day's work for Rod and then had a little bit of my tea while the computer fired up so I could get the info for the conference call with my GCS colleagues.

That went on for an hour and a half (and I took notes), then I had to type up the notes and attend to all my emails.

Watched a bit of a Rocky movie, and a bit of The Thin Red Line and never got around to finishing my tea.

Today looks to be much the same.

Blimey.

A new beginning

So here I am then. For those of you who didn't know, I am sitting at a different desk, doing different things as I left the corporate world behind last week.

I am now part time recruitment consultant, part time life coach, which I honestly do feel is an improvement on where I was before.

Now I can plan to do more of the things I know I need to be doing and less of those I shouldn't be.

If you're interested, the part time recruiting bit takes place here at Opeople .

Looking forward to doing this on a more regular basis now I have more time.
